Niels and I arrived to Hawaii last night! We are taking a little babymoon on Oahu to get away from it all. Our flight from Seattle was 3 hours delayed which kinda sucked because we sat at Seatac forever and nearly didn't have enough time to pick up our rental car before the place closed for the night. On top of that the last 30 minutes coming into Hawaii we had some CRAZY turbulence - the kind where you dropping and rise 30 feet while swaying and shaking side to side. Lets just say we didn't feel spectacular when we finally landed.
Anyways, picked up our convertible jeep and headed to the other island. We are staying at Sean's guest cottage behind his famlies rental house (Thanks so much Sean!!!)... It is in the small area of Lanikai and it meets our needs perfect - studio apartment with bed, kitchen, bath, living, and 1 block to one of the most beautiful beaches!!!
We took a beach stroll early this morning and watched the sun come up, gorgeous! I tell you, sand in my toes and warm air is the best therapy for me!
Looking forward to a super relaxing vacation over the next 10 days and just spending extra quality time with my bubby.
