The details below aren't pretty.
got a stomach bug, either a virus or food poisoning from the eggs we had at Mr. T's roadside diner on saturday.
A little on saturday, but really starting Sunday morning I started getting violently ill. COuldn't keep food down and not even water. Had to call labor and delivery midday to figure out what to do. They said it was crucial I get fluids in me or dehydration can cause contractions... they tell me to take one sip every 5 minutes and then wait and repeat. I takes me 4 hours to get throught 8 ounces of water, but I do! Yahoo!
My body aches all over, I have absolutely no physical energy - I am just completely wipped. I take my temp... its only 99.2. I think, that is ok. The book the doctor gave me says to call only if it is over 100. but it keeps climbing. I have to call labor and delivery again... They said just keep up my fluid intake and keep an eye on it, apparently they tell you to call at 100, but they only care when it starts going over 101. My fever reaches 100.6. I need to sleep though. I go to sleep and tell Niels to wake me in two hours so I can see what my fever is doing. He wakes me and luckily it has gone down to 100.2. I go to sleep and sleep through the night. In the morning my fever breaks and is below 100 and I am feeling a bunch better. Still incredibly achy.
Now the diarrhea sets in... awesome. I still cannot eat. lay in bed and wallow.
