We had an adventurous evening, while relocating our enormous wood pile to Keulers. First I had Shane's truck (the 7.0l V8 Green Beast) stuck in the soft dirt next to the carport. Helen effortlessy towed me out with our Toyota Tundra (Tonka), while the Green Beast was already loaded down with a ton of wood. While assessing the situation before driving out to the Keulers, along came a spider....creeping and crawling down my neck. I picked it off my neck with my leather work gloves and could feel that it was big, and then a bite...yes, the damn thing bit me!! Helen quickly remembered the 'sucky uppy' device that Robin gave us a couple of years ago, and she managed to get a lot of the poison out. Washington state has it fair share of crazy spiders, this more than likely was an Agressive House spider also known as the Hobo spider, which in allergic people can lead to all kinds of nasty things.
