The staple of European laundry rooms......

In preparation of the baby, we decided to get a new washer and dryer. The Kenmore set that came with the house wasn't really cutting it any longer. So we started researching front loading washer and dryers, as it was time to leave the years of top loading behind us. Obviously, our first stop was Costco (online) and we really liked the deal on the Whirlpool. However while shopping around (at Albert Lee) we walked into the staple of European laundry rooms...the Miele "in behemoth US style"!! Due to the price (Miele is expensive, fixed price, no deals); we kept looking around and researching the other brands, finding more and more praises to the Miele quality and operation and less and less encouraging remarks about the other models we were looking into. This made us come to the conclusion that this would be a long term commitment, therefore it would be worth to spend the extra $$$ knowing that the Miele will last us a lifetime (or at least till Camden goes to College).
