Right before our 36 week appointment Niels and I had another Ultrasound of our little girl to check her growth and everything, as always, was looking BEAUTIFUL. We have a great picture of her face, but cannot post it until we get our printer unpacked and get the photo scanned in. Sorry!
What they found with the ultrasound is the following:
Weight: 6lb 9oz (46-51 percentile - so right on track)
Head: Measuring 1 week small (I DON'T mind, easier to push out! She may take after her Auntie Dre who has a petite noggin)
Femur Length: Still Measuring 2 weeks big (our long and lanky little lady!)
They also said that her amniotic fluid levels were starting to decline a little bit. Nothing too concerning now, just something to continue monitoring each week - I guess it really just gives me something more to worry about - Nice :-(
At my appointment they checked me out and said that at this point I am 50% effaced and basically closed, maybe fingertip dialated. For those of you new to the baby business you need to get to 100% effaced and 10 centimeters dialiated ultimately. Of course it is all a guessing game on when she will grace us with her presence but my doctor believes I will go to my due date (August 17th) if not a week longer.
