On our weekly OB visit, the doctor told us that Helen is 1.5-2cm dilated, and that she touched our baby's head....you touched what!? Well Helen must have lost her mucous plug and 2.5cm is enough to slip a finger in there, makes total sense....right!!!???
The 1.5-2cm freaked us out a little; however the doctor told us that you can be dilated like that for weeks (what a relief!). Helen asked the doctor 'if she was a betting woman, when does she think the baby will pop?', the doctors response was 'probably still around her due date'.
The skinny to the OB visit, baby fine, Helen fine.....Niels confused!
