The Story of the Squawky Little Pumpkin... THE SEQUAL

The day after Halloween, also known as All Saints Day, the squawky little pumpkin was in for another adventure.  Only the day prior, the young attractive couple, had found the little pumpkin alone in the woods below a tree and welcomed the sweet gourd into their heart and home.  They were so excited about their new bundle of joy they wanted to show her off to their nearest and dearest friends who live in the quaint  neighboring village to the north.   So the couple drove the little pumpkin over the hills and through the woods.

On their travels, they came across a crowd of people all looking up into the air towards a big oak tree.  Some people looked surprised, others looked frightened, a little girl was crying.  "What is awry?" wondered the man.   He stopped the carriage next to the crowd to investigate.   The women the spotted what all the commotion was about!  Way, way, way up at the very tippy top of the tree there was a sweet, black kitten perched precariously on a branch.   The sweet kitten looked down, saw the man, the woman, and the little pumpkin but at that very moment the thin branch the sweet kitten sat upon broke and the cat began tumbling out of the sky.    The little pumpkin screeched, the woman let out a scream, and the man rushed to catch the kitten.  The sweet kitten landed safely and softly in the man's strong arms.

The man set the sweet kitten down and she immediately walked over to the little pumpkin. Meeeeeeoooooowwwww she said to greet the pumpkin.  Sqquuuuuaaaaawwwk said the pumpkin in return. Supposedly black cats are bad luck but the little pumpkin took a great liking to this feline and it was clear to the young couple that THIS sweet black cat was actually very LUCKY and very SPECIAL!  So they strapped the sweet little black kitten into the carriage next to the pumpkin and carried on their way.

They all continued their journey to the quaint village up north.  Not long after meeting the black cat they saw smoke on the horizon.  "Oh No!" said the woman "maybe something is burning?!  we should go and have a look and make sure everything is ok"  The man drove the carriage up the hill and as they crested they could see flames shooting from a grove of trees.  They dashed from the carriaged to the edge of the forest and couldn't believe their eyet...  There, just inside the tree line, was a Big, Smiling Dragon, and every time the smiling dragon laughed, fire burst from his big dragon nose!

The black kitten and the little pumpkin began to squeel with delight every time the big, smiling dragon laughed!

The couple asked the dragon, "why are you smiling and laughing so much, dragon? you are making so much fire!"

Because you found me! AND you brought me my sister, the black cat!"  replied the dragon.  "How can a big, smiling dragon be the brother of a little black cat?"  asked the man.   The sweet kitten explained, "well my mommy is 100 % cat and my daddy is a pure blood dragon.".  "Well that makes perfect sense" responded the woman.  So they all piled into the carriage, including the big, smiling dragon...  who unfortunately had to keep his snout out the window so the flames wouldn't catch the carriage on fire.

Finally, after a very LONG journey they arrived to the quaint village in the north and their friends, also an attractive couple, greeted them with open arms!  "Welcome!  Oh, I see you have found my children!  My big, smiling dragon and sweet black kitten - thanks for bringing them home.  Now that they can walk and crawl they like to wander and explore the countryside"

The attractive couples and their children all the spent the day together eating, and talking, and laughing - and CELEBRATING, because it was also the birthday of the attractive woman from the quaint village in the north. The afternoon passed by very pleasently...  The little pumpkin, the sweet black kitten, and the big, smiling dragon played together and became the bestest of life long friends.

But alas it was eventually time for the young, attractive couple from the south to take the little pumpkin home for a long slumber.  The little pumpkin cried and cried and cried giant pumpkin tears because she didn't want to leave her new bestest friends; she was having way too much fun.  The sweet black cat and the big smiling dragon both placed a hand on the little pumpkin and said, "its ok, we will play together another day!"

...And they lived happily ever after...

The End.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHY!
